Summary
Dinah Laurel Lance, better known as Black Canary, is a superheroine and a member of the Justice League of America. The daughter of the original Black Canary, a charter member of the Justice Society of America, Dinah was inspired by her mother and detective father to fight crime and corruption wherever possible. However, after her father's passing and her subsequent rejection from the police force, she turned to vigilantism as a means of fighting the growing threats to the peace she so loves.
