DC: More Green Lantern calcs
I'll start compiling these into 'volumes' in order to make them easier to catalogue and check.
Feat here, Action Comics Vol 1 589. Despite what the art may look like, this is frm 1987, so this is Post-Crisis material. The object is described as a planetoid, so I'll use the radius of Pluto, so that gives us a radius of 1,188.3 km. The object was completely comprised of Earth-soil, so 1600 kg/m^3.
Volume of sphere nets us 7.03×10^9 km^3, 7.03e+18 m^3
7.03e+18 * 1600 = 1.1248e+22 kg
Hal says it'll reach Earth in 12 minutes.
sqrt(1-(tan(35)*(438/630))^2/((tan(35)*(438/630))^2+1))*12,742 = 12,102.27 km (12,102,270 m)
2atan(tan(70deg/2)*[438/630]) = 0.906081623×180°/π = 51.914652892°
Angsizing yields 1.2430e+7 m
1.2430e+7 m / 12 minutes = 17,263.8 m/s

DC: Relativistic mass of a small moon
Feat happens in Convergence: Speed Force Vol 1 2. Feat can be found here. I just skimmed the book so I don't knw further context.
For "small moon", I'll use Amalthea, which has a mass of 10^18 kg. He says "half the speed of light" so 0.50c, so 149,900,000 m/s.
The result is 3.32 Yottatons when put into a RelaKE calculator.

The explosion occurred in Midtown Manhattan and news reports mention that the Mindless One destroyed 5 city blocks, the average block in Manhattan is 80 meters wide so the explosion had a diameter of approximately 400 meters.
Yield: (200^3*((27136*1.37895+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2) = 642.947485588 Tons of TNT

(642.947485589) / (4π((4.4762300512097869869836)^2)) = 2.55352927457

Feat happens in Detective Comics #743. Full context here.
This doesn't use inverse square law since Batman takes the full brunt of the explosion and walks out of the building pretty okay.
I'll just assume the vampire dude shown in the middle of the explosion is the same height as Batman, 6ft 2inch or 1.88 m.

Sonic Unleashed SPD
Sonic Unleashed shows that the Light Speed Dash clocks in at 390 SPD in the checkpoint speedometer. Sonic moving at his fastest within Unleashed clocks in at 3519 SPD. Let's do some simple math, and I mean incredibly simple. I don't think this even needs to be evaluated.

Light speed? That's small time.
Sonic (a classic version of himself technically(?!)) does the spin dash attack to gotta go fast to move fast whenever he wants pretty much, unlike S&K3 we can compare the charged up version and non charged up version instead of just a baseline spin dash; we can compare his movement speed here on screen directly to the velocity of the Eggrobo's lasers they shoot at him, which act as natural light would be expected to; lasers travel at the speed of light by name description of being light.

Collective Man's punches
This is a pretty easy calc. Collective Man has the force of 1 billion people/the population of China. Spidey can tank his punches, at least when in his Mark IV Armor. Human level is 40-100 Joules, so the median is 70 joules. There 1.386 billion people in China, so we multiply the 2 and get 97,020,000,000 Joules. There are 4,184,000,000 joules in a ton of TNT, so we do some division and get 23.1883365200764818 tons. 8-B is 11 to 100 Tons, so this is 8-B. It could be argued he downscales due to seeing quintuple, but besides that he was pretty much fine and I'm pretty sure it's still 8-B.
Edit: Actually, I'm going to redo this with 1.142 billion people since children or whatever would be 10-C, but there are 1.142 billion adults. We get 79,940,…

Creating or blowing up a dimension with a starry sky is an extremely common feat in fiction, but we currently lack solid values for these feats, and just peg them at 4-A
Let's try to put a number on them, shall we?
The farthest bright star visible from the unaided eye is Eta Carinae A, a red hypergiant that lies roughly 7,500 light years away from our little dot full of life.
Said star is, on average, 120 times more massive than our Sun at 2.387e32kg, with a radius of 167 million kilometers. It is mostly convective, which means we're going with the polytrope of 1.5 for the GBE.

Average Neutron Stars GBE
This feat seems to be a common feat in fiction with stars such as neutron stars or created or destroyed so so I made a calculation.
Gravitational Binding Energy Equation for stars is (3*G*M^2)/(r(5-n))
The average neutron star is 1.4 Solar Masses with a radius of 10 kilometers as stated here and there.
- Solar mass is 1.989 × 10^30 kilograms
- Mass of the average star is (1.4*1.989 × 10^30) kilograms
- Radius is 10000 meters.
- Assuming a n (which can go from 0.5 to 1) is 0.5
- G is a constant of 6.67408x10^-11
Calculation
- (3*6.67408*10^-11*((1.4*1.989 * 10^30))^2)/((5-0.5)*10000) = 3.4 × 1046 Joules (Solar System Level)

Can Opener Neck Crank Force
This is a calc to show how proper technique means that it doesn't require Class 1 lifting strength to break a neck.
This article demonstrates how the neck can act as a lever to increase applied force. Your head balanced properly in an upright position only exerts around 12 lbs. of force on your cervical spine. However, tilt your head forward 60 degrees and that force increases to 60 lbs. of force.
A can opener is probably the most simple neck crank. It involves simply going to guard or mount (preventing your opponent's body from shifting) then cranking your opponent's head forward/down in a case of hyperflexion - similar to dropping your head forward when you have bad posture, but with a hell of a lot more force.
Your cervical spine is a clas…
Creating a pocket dimension containing a star
Trying to get a tier for the "Create a pocket dimension with a sun" kind of feat
Assumption made for this calc:
The radius is 1 AU like Earth-Sun distance.
The planet inside the pocket dimension is Earth.
Formula is E= 4*U*((Er/Br)^2), U is GBE of Earth, Er is the explosion's radius, Br is the Earth's radius, and E is the yield.
1 AU= 1,496*10^11 metres
GBE= 2,24*10^32 J
Earth's radius= 6.373.044,737 m

Here an average 2016 Japanese male at 25-29 is picked. Because most anime comes from Japan. Fight me.
The target weighs at 66.82 kg and stands at 1.7185 m.
To make a target fall, the center of gravity is likely falling from roughly half his own height to roughly ground floor.
Height to fall = 1.7185/2 = 0.85925 m

Turning an average building to ashes
Wikipedia states that the average size of an owned residence in Japan is 121.7 m^2. When you think "average house/ building" you have in mind a two-storey building, which is approx 6.6 m.
This site gives us a volume of 859.1 m^3. Density of concrete is 2400 kg per cubic meter. So 2,061,840 kg = 2,061,840,000 g.
Using the formula Q = m*c*ΔΤ
Using 3 ends of 80%, 85% and 90% hollowness for the mass.
According to Assaltwaffle, concrete's specific heat capacity is 880 J/kg°C.
Change in temperature is from room temperature to concrete's melting point:
Concrete's melting point = 1450 °C (google source)
Room temperature = 20 °C (average of 15 °C and 25 °C)
High end: 80% hollowness: 2,061,840,000 x 0.2 x 880 x (1450 - 20) = 5.189e14 J = 124 kilotons. Large…
Cannonball AP
Using the standardized values, a cannonball weights 32 lb (14.514 kg) and has a speed in between 1250 feet per second (381 ms), 1450 (441.96 ms) and 1700 (518,16).
Simple enough.
I'll do 3 ends.
Throwing it into the KE calculator.
14.514 kg and 381 meters per second=1053430 joules
14.514 kg and 441.96 meters per second=1417500 joules
14.514 kg and 518.16 meters per second=1948430 joules
All high end Wall level
Low-end=1.05 megajoules, 9-B
Mid-end=1.41 megajoules, 9-B
High-end=1.94 megajoules, 9-B
The correct end would end up being case by case, depending on the cannon.
Keep in mind it can also be much higher (9-A) or much lower than this, it all depends on the cannon. This is just an baseline.

Energy to blow up the Milky Way Galaxy in one attack
Not really sure which fictional series have done this sort of feat, but in the case that real life humanity ever decides to make a bomb that explodes all the stars in our Milky Way Galaxy via inverse square law, this is what the yield would be for the energy that bomb would release.
Pulsars are a type of neutron star located in the Milky Way Galaxy, which are at a minimum 12 kilometers in radius and have a mass of at least 1.1 solar masses (1.989 x 10^30 kilograms is 1 solar mass; 1.1 solar masses is 2.1879E+30 kg).

In this blog I will be using Stellar Classication to determine what the "average star" is. Of course if you pulled a star, at random, out of the sky, it would be a M-Class Main Sequence most of the time. But on a large scale, say, 100 or more, you will pull other stars. If you destroyed 100 stars in one go, you would be destroying some K, G, F, and possibly A stars as well in that sample. So saying that the average is exclusively class M doesn't compensate enough. While the majority of the stars will be M, others will not, and thus need to be added into this hypothetical "average" s…
The Eclipse Cannon in Sonic the Hedgehog
https://sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Eclipse_Cannon
This laser beam weapon on the ARK is stated to be able to "pierce through stars" in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, according to the most accurate Japanese to English translations that I know of.
https://youtu.be/NbhxkGJaOHU?t=729
Shadow: "A weapon that pierces stars."
Eggman: "Piercing stars..."
https://youtu.be/dEwBHc9jb9Y?t=220

Clayface (Post-Crisis) Lifting Strength
Happens in Batman (1940) #689.
This Clayface already has a few awesome feats of overpowering heroes much stronger than he is (well, mainly Wonder Woman but that's probably because of his powers) as well as lifting and throwing trucks with apparent ease.
This is just as good to confirm his strength on that front.
Using the average window length of 1.5 meters and the octahedron volume calculator...
As well as the density of clay (1,746 kilogram per cubic meter) and concrete (2,400 kilograms per cubic metre), since it's not clear if these rocks he's throwing are pieces of himself or chunks he's ripped off the building he's in.
Barely over Class 10, but easily Class 25 given how consistently he's chucking these projectiles.
Class 25, in case there w…
Sonic visits all the planets in the universe while you read this
This states that the average reading speed of most adults is 200 words per minute. In the text, we see a total of 55 words, for a total of 16.5 seconds for reading all of them.
It's said that, on the Milky Way galaxy, there are over 100 billion planets.
This states that there are possibly tens of billions of solar systems on the Milky Way galaxy. I'll be estimating 20 billion solar systems. The closest solar system there is in relation to our Solar System is 4.0151340 x 10^13 kms away, so i'll use that as a low-ball for the average distance between solar systems.
The distance between all the solar systems in a galaxy is, then, equal to 4.0151340 x 10^13 x 2 x 10^10, that's equal to 803026800000000000000000km. If we were to assume the Milky …
EVERYBODY’S SUPER SONIC RACING
- 1 Context
- 2 Calculation
- 2.1 Distance
- 2.2 Timeframe
- 2.3 Result
Hey, everybody! Today, I'm gonna be doing a small redo of this calculation. While this calc was accepted using two million universes, what Sonic says in this scan alludes to a number far above two million. A "kajillion" could refer to any number, but in case you feel like the result is purposefully inflated… Zonic the Zone Cop (the sideways guy) states that Sonic travelled to every reality that had a Sonic in it... Of which there are an infinite amount of, hence the Low 2-C or 2-A ratings of the god tiers in the verse. Couple that with the "kajillion" from Sonic, the slightly inconsistent dialogue of how many Sonics were there, and the fact that Darkanine recommended that 2 billion would …
Post Genesis Chaos 0(Sonic) Stopping and Picking Up Ocean Calculation by Magic
MrLuk2000-
So if you guys didn't know a few others and I are working on making pages for Post Genesis Wave Archie Sonic and here is the intial feat and how the world looked
now to get a energy level we had to find how far down the water went which was portrayed on these two scans as going down near the core of the planet until Chaos came and picked it back up, also it is believed to take a minute for the water to drop
the Calc by

If it really almost hit the core of the earth we can get an energy based on that. So the potential energy that is transformed into kinetic energy is
The distance of the border to the core of the earth to the center of the earth is 3471000m. (source)So with that we can calculate it now.

Regarding the canonicity of certain DC crossovers
The plot of this crossover involved Krona destroying a couple universes including the Antimatter Universe, and later attempting to use powerful artifacts from both DC and Marvel to drain and fuse DC's New Earth universe and Marvel's 616 universe in order to study Eternity and Kismet and learn secrets about how the new universe would begin. He was defeated and became sealed within a newly formed Cosmic Egg.
- First of all, the Cosmic Egg created during this event served as the main impetus for the 2008 Trinity series, and the events of JLA/Avengers were directly shown in issue 7.
- Second, JLA issue 108 directly shows the Antimatter Universe being destroyed and the Crime Syndicate figuring out that their history was erased and recreated.

Respect Loki, the God of Mischief (Marvel Comics)
Here's a respect thread for Loki, the Norse God of Mischief.
This blog will include feats and powers Loki has displayed since his Silver Age debut in Journey into Mystery #85, 1962. At the moment I'm only considering doing the original Loki (the one that died in Siege), although I may consider doing Kid Loki and Ikol (which includes King Loki as a bonus).
Note: He appeared all the way back in the 60s, so I can't promise this will be a project that can be done quickly.
Status: The research for Original! Loki's feats and hax is finished. Now making a new blog for Kid Loki.

Marvel Comics: Ultron Bots Explosion
Just a quick calculation for the Spider-Man/Luke Cage/Iron Fist upgrade thread. File was to big to actually upload, apparently, so here's a scaled down Gyazo screenshot.
https://i.gyazo.com/3b47e6134346dc9664924b89f9ea9b60.png
Since it appears to be near the bottom end of Manhatten, I'll use that for scale.
https://i.gyazo.com/4c8d689f7f85bc2afc7309adfeaa8997.png
So 2457 = 1.4 Kilometers.
2457 / 1203 = 2.042394014962594
1.4 km / 2.042394014962594 = 0.685470085 Kilometers en Diameter, so a radius of 0.3427350425 Kilometers
R = Y^(1/3)*0.28
R = Radius in Kilometers.
Y = Yield in Kilotons.
0.3427350425 = Y^(1/3)*0.28 = 1.8
So low end Small Town level

Spider-Man Catches and Lifts the Daily Bugle
So the current calc we're using for Spider-Man's Large Building AP is flawed because it assumes the density of building is much higher than any actual building. Therefore, I'm redoing the calc by ChaosTheory using the density of the Empire State Building, which has similar dimensions to the Bugle.
Link to the original calc
As this scan explains, the letters on the roof of the Bugle are 30 feet tall... or also known as 9.144 meters tall
Letter = 12 pixels
Initial Height of Support Before Falling = 9 pixels
Bugle Height 1 = 116 pixels
Bugle Height 2 = 177 pixels
Bugle Height 3 = 145 pixels
Bugle Length 1 = 47 pixels
Bugle Length 2 = 64 pixels
Bugle Length 3 = 73 pixels
Bugle Width = 136 pixels
Initial Height of Support Before Falling/Letter = 0.75

Daily Bugle calc
I'm going to assume both walls of that skyscraper are at 45 deg angle to the screen as it clearly looks that way
Letter 14 px - 9.14 m
Length of the building: - 131 px - 85.52 m
True length: 85.51/cos45 deg = 120.92 m
Height 1 - 107 px - 69.86 m
Width 1, 46 px - 30.03 m
True width 1 - 30.03/cos45 deg = 42.47 m
Heigh 2 - 173 px - 112.94 m
Width 2 - 60 px - 39.17 m
True width 2 - 39.17/cos45 deg = 55.39 m
Height 3 - 134 px - 87.48 m
Width 3 - 65 px - 42.44 m
True width 3 - 42.44/cos45 deg = 60.02 m
Innitial support: 11 px - 7.18 m
Volume 1:
120.92*69.86*42.47 = 358764.10 m^3
Volume 2:
120.92*112.94*55.39 = 756444.88 m^3
Volume 3:
120.92*87.48*60.02 = 634896.45 m^3
Total volume: 634896.45+756444.88+358764.10 = 1750105.43 m^3

Saint Seiya's Mastered Pegasus Meteor Fist Speed
Seiya’s Pegasus Meteor Fist hit Dragon Shiyru when he was posing for his ultimate attack
The timeframe is one millisecond, as it was stated that is how long there is an opening for his weakness to be apparent
Now I need to calc the distance
Seiya is 165 centimeters tall, and his height here is 204 pixels
Panel height = 1200 pixels
2*atan(204/(1200/tan(70/2))) = 9.21029384 degrees
Seiya is 165 centimeters tall, and the angle is 9.21029384 degrees
http://www.1728.org/angsize.htm
That equals a distance of 33.6023622 feet
Now Dragon Shiryu is 172 centimeters, that is -5.64304 feet
or 27.9593222 feet
27.9593222 feet/1 millisecond = 19,063.1742 miles per hour, or mach 25.0433495 (Barely high hypersonic)
I am not sure if this is consistent or not yet, as I a…

I decided to do my own calcs, using Granite as a basis. Luckly, a gentleman from OBD alredy did the calc here:

Granite Density = 2.7g/cc
Total Binding Energy of Granite = 2143012962432.5 Joules/cc

Thanos generates that wave with the Infinity Gauntlet. It absolutely screws up a lot of crap

Galactcus states that the wave devestated a quarter of the galaxy, and that Planet Earth took 2% of the blast. That will be important for later

Iron Man takes the blast, while hoving at the edge of space.

Iron Man Stops Manhattan-Sized Rock (Recalc)
The original calc assumes Iron Man didn't stop the rock because that was unnecessary. However, Iron Man would've literally died if the rock made contact
- According to Terrax, Iron Man would've been killed in this collision.
- Iron Man resorted to his most powerful weapon because he couldn't avoid it and his repulsors weren't powerful enough to stop it.
- The mere debris of the mountain heavily damaged his suit.
- 1 Calculation
- 1.1 Low-End
- 1.2 High-End
- 2 Final Tally
Mountain = 294.78 px / 10800 m
Speed Line = 100 px / 3663.74924 m
Speed Line = 26 px
Panel Height = 606 px
2*atan(tan(70/2 deg)*(26/606)) = 3.44151393391899 degrees
Plugging these values into the Angular Size Calculator gets 179750 m

Sonic the Hedgehog: Super Sonic speed
- 1 Introduction
- 2 The Calculation
- 2.1 Method 1
- 2.2 Method 2
Super Sanic flies so fast that he makes stars blur. Pretty wicked.
As cheesy as it is, listening to the 4kids Sonic X theme pumps me up to do this calc.
Feat found here.
At least, I think they're stars. People say they're stars. Look a little wonky to me, but what else would they be?
The Star diameter is 5 pixels. Diameter of the sun is 1,391,400,037.21 meters
The distance Sonic flies is 82 pixels
82 / 5 = 16.4
1,391,400,037.21 * 16.4 = 22,818,960,610.2 meters
The snapshot was taken at 12:19:47, and he travels the distance at 12:19:67
19.67 - 19.47 = 0.2s
22,818,960,610.2 meters / 0.2 = 114,094,803,051 m/s

Massively FTL
Screen height: 480 pixels
2atan(tan(70/2)*(5/480)) = 0.009871059856 Radians

Sonic Advance 3 Super Sonic speed
In Sonic Advance 3,Super Sonic chased Ultimate Gemerl out into space. The Gizoid had to be stopped(because reasons).
Eggman followed Super Sonic into space to aid him against his defiant creation.I consider Eggman's part in this PIS Game Mechanic as he shouldn't have been much help to a Planetary being nor should his Egg Mobile have been able to keep pace.
Eggman aside,Super Sonic caught up to Gemerl within 6 seconds (only counting the moment Super Sonic flew off to the cutscene's end.Not counting the End-of-Zone Tally or the level banner that's advertised for several seconds upon reaching him).In the Background of "Nonaggression",what resembles molecular cloud/stars can been seen:
That in the background fits the bill for an Open Cluster. It ev…

Lina Shields - Death Egg Blaster Revisited
Based on the original calc here.
All credit goes to Lina Shields.
Let's take a closer look at the Death Egg Blaster again, shall we?
Here is the video of the feat btw regarding the Death Egg Blaster. Feat starts at 27:21.000
'
At 27:23.520 in the video, Eggman goes ham and fires that Final Egg Blaster.
At 27:28.520 in the video, the screen starts to rumble, meaning that the Final Egg Blaster blew up those stars.
It only took like what, 5 seconds for it to make contact?
Nearest star cluster, Hyades is 153 light years away.
- 153 LY x 31,536,000s/yr x 300,000,000m/s = 1.4475e18 m
- 1.4475e18 m / 5 seconds = 2.895e17 m/s
- That is 965,001,600 times FTL.
That is some major speed upgrade ther.
Now, about blowing up that Hyades...
