Glory of the First Circle is a character that was introduced in "The Sandman: Overture", but has made cameo appearances before in other Sandman related series like "The Books of Magic" and "Endless Nights".
Glory is a member of the Council of The First Circle. Not much is known about the council, other than they gathered very early in the universe, and set the rules and boundaries for existence.
