Summary

Kara Zor-L was the cousin of Superman who came to Earth later. In her early days, she became a member of the Justice Society of America within the groups twilight years of the 1970s, and would go on to become a member of the team's next generation under the moniker of Power Girl. Power Girl would remain an active member of the team well into the 2000s and joined other hero teams such as the Birds of Prey and New Earth's Superman respectively. As her secret identity, Karen Starr, she worked as a successful businesswoman and programmer.

Intelligence: At least Genius with technology (A former programmer at a prestigious computing company and the founder of the famous technology firm, Starrware industries, Power Girl has admitted that she doesn't really know how smart she is, and finds comfort in that as a coping mechanism regarding the craziness of her life. She has, however, been shown to be extraordinarily intelligent, able to build advanced technology planned by Mr. Terrific[51], a man often compared to Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne). Gifted in fighting (Mastered the physicals of Karate faster than any Marine Mongo has trained[17], though often sticks to boxing and brawling), Power Girl has in addition been shown to to think outside the box to come up with unique strategies and often uses her foes' strengths to their disadvantage). Gifted elsewhere (Can speak Tagalog semi-well, and is a reasonably intelligent person in most fields.[4])

Weaknesses: Kryptonite, Red Sun Radiation, magic, noises on certain frequencies harm her.
