Summary
During the battle between Perpetua and her sons at the time of the Justice/Doom War, Mar Novu, Alpheus and Mobius merged together to form The Ultra-Monitor, empowered by Starman's Totality shard. The Ultra-Monitor was meant to hold off Perpetua long enough for Starman to bring the others' Totality's fragments throught Hypertime and seal Perpetua away.
However, because of Hawkgirl's vendetta against Lex Luthor and enough people on Earth-0 aligned with the concept of Doom, Perpetua was nearly restored to her full power, and Mobius then betrayed his brothers and took control of the fusion by using the Anti-Life Equation.
